There are so many wonderful places all over the glob to travel to, but for the moment I will list my top places from my to-visit list that I want to check out in the near future:
- European Capitals Trip- part 1: Budapest, Vienna, Bratislava, Prague - I heard so great things especially about Vienna and Prague - ✅ done but in a different format, with visiting Slovakia, including Bratislava, then Vienna and Budapest.
- European Capitals - part 2 & Croatia Trip: Belgrad, Sarajevo, Dubronik, Krka National Park, Zadar (for the beach), Plitvice Lakes National Park, Zagreb - ✅ half done as we had to return back home due to some unexpected circumstances, but we managed to see: Belgrad, Sarajevo, Dubrovnik and Plitvice Lakes National Park
- Turkey Trip: Istanbul, Cappadocia, Antalya, Troia, Efes, Oludeniz, Marmaris, Kusadasi (Pamukkale) + Devetaki Cave, Bulgaria
- Greece Trip - part 1: Thassos - ✅
- Greece Trip - part 2: Lefkada - ✅
- Greece Trip - part 3: Corfu+Santorini
- Iceland: Golden Circle Route, Reykjavik (Háaleiti)
- Ireland - ✅ we actually went twice for holidays: once as a city break when we visited Dublin, and a second time for an extended weekend when we did a road trip through the north of Ireland and Northern Ireland, including visiting: Belfast, Cliffs of Moher and Giants Causeway
- Scotland
- Japan: Tokyo, Kyoto
- USA: Oregon, Seattle
- Barcelona - ✅ actually I went twice, once for an IT conference, and the second time with my partner, when we visited of course Sagrada Familia, and also Park Guell, just to name a few highlights
Updated above wishlist as of July 2023 with the items I have actually crossed from my list and it's really satisfying to see that about half of them are already crossed.
